nidhogg

for all of us that appreciate the often overlooked norse mythology, i bring you nidhogg. nidhogg is the serpent the rests at the base of the world tree yggdrasil in the underworld of niflheim. he perpetually gnaws on the roots of yggdrasil, attempting to destroy the great tree.

i was going for a dragon-y type serpent here, something of a wyrm, i would suppose. perhaps not an accurate portrayal nidhogg... more suitable to vidofmir, perhaps. nidhogg is much more intimidating... the serpent here is more suited to a water element... gah!! i'll probably move this to scraps later, like i do with half of my work. back to the drawing board...
